America: The Leading Nation In The World

During the cold war, people speculated that Russia would take over America. 
The truth: it didn't happen. 

 

Then in the 80s people predicted that Japan would outgrow and surpass America. 
Again: it didn't happen.

For the past few years, everyone has been predicting that China would surpass America in terms of gross national product within a few years.

I believe: "It won't happen! America was, America is and America will continue to be leading the nation in the world through our scientific and technological mastery and innovations."

During the past year or so, we have seen a boost in our Energy sector (largely due to shale gas revolution) and in Manufacturing ("Made in America" is making a comeback!) and simulataenously, a decay in China's growth rate.

A whole lot of innovations would follow.
