• The speech (political) should be more of “what you guys can accomplish through my efforts and plans” than “what I can / shall do”.
• Painting pictures, showing people image with words 
• Pictures are better at inducing emotions.
• “I have a dream that someday ……. (words that paint pictures)”
• Humor 
• grabbing attention
• Emotion in voice, facial expression, body language
• Continuity of subject matter from start to end
• Focus on your Audience.  
• Specialization of majority, interest, knowledge
• Rhyme, alliterations 
• Examples:
• "Slowly but surely ..."
• Sticks to audiences’ minds.
