- Exponential Technologies => Abundance
- Well grounded possibilities of “abundance” and “technological singularity” in the near future
- => There will be more than enough of almost everything for everyone.
- => Selfless societies.
- Most of us didn’t know that the Internet existed before 1995. Now we not only have access to the Internet but we carry powerful smart-phones in our pockets using which we can access almost all of exponentially growing human knowledge and a whole lot of other services and communicate with almost anyone on the planet {any of the 6 billion+}.
- Computers are getting exponentially faster and cheaper. If we can somehow computerize a science or technology {process-able information}, knowledge / improvement in the branch grows exponentially – just as we are watching the growth in biology. Data Science is the hot new topic. Manufacturing {3D Printing, Automation, Robotics, Fab-lab} could be the next, or it might be another.
- Now we have DIY, open tools {e.g., open source software} at our disposal using which it is cheap to get started and we can develop products that were only possible by large corporations and government organizations only a few decades back.)
