Entrepreneurship Development

Information - Community

Demand side

Finance (অর্থ সংস্থান) - Banking Sector
  • ব্যাংক ঋণ শর্ত সহজীকরণ;
    • ব্যাংক থেকে bad loan র প্রবণতা (ঋণ খেলাপি, দুর্নীতি, রাজনৈতিক connection, ব্যবসাটির আদৌ সম্ভাবনা আছে কিনা - ইত্যাদি, ) দূর করা। আবার উপযুক্ত ক্ষেত্রে যাতে loan দেওয়া হয়। loan দেওয়ার মাপকাঠি ঠিক করে দেওয়া।
  • Bank Interest Rate

"On social media, people advised the robbers that there is a less time-consuming way to get your hands on a pile of cash: befriend the bank manager.
Sonali Bank revealed that one of its branches in Dhaka had granted a particular firm almost 27 billion taka in loans on false premises. All but 4 billion taka subsequently disappeared without trace.

Poor oversight and imprudent lending, often to well-connected firms or individuals, are a hallmark of state-owned banks everywhere. Bangladesh is no exception.
Bangladesh’s private banks, in turn, have helped boost garment-making, its main industry. Clients are lining up to secure loans for garment factories, power plants and steel mills, among other projects."

Finance (অর্থ সংস্থান) - Venture Capital Firm, Angel Investors' Firm, Incubator Firm

  • দেশে Venture Capital (ভেঞ্চার ক্যাপিটাল), Angel Investors (আঞ্জেল ইনভেস্টারস) - শিল্প গড়ে তোলা;
In contrast, Venture Capital Firms রা - Business Start-up একটু পরিণত হওয়ার পর বিনিয়োগ করেন।

Finance (অর্থ সংস্থান) - Stock Market

“The stock market capitalization of the Dhaka Stock Exchange in Bangladesh crossed $10 billion in November 2007 and the $30 billion mark in 2009, and USD 50 billion in August 2010.”

Ease Of Starting Business; Administrative Complexity Elimination

ব্যবসার ক্ষেত্রে আমলাতান্ত্রিক জটিলতা নিরসন; দ্রুততম সময়ে উদ্যোক্তারা যাতে ব্যবসা শুরু করতে পারেন সে লক্ষ্যে সমস্ত বাঁধাগুলো দূর করা;

  • Engineering / Basic & Applied Sciences এবং Economics / BBA / MBA background র ছাত্রছাত্রীদের একসাথে বসা এবং Knowledge and Ideas - exchange, share করার সুযোগ করে দেওয়া। Engineering Ventures.

Information & Communication Technologies

Information & Communication Technologies : Smart Government

দেশের ভেতরে (Dhaka - Chittagong 4-lane Highway; Dhaka - Sylhet Highway; Dhaka -Chittagong এবং Dhaka - Sylhet High Speed Rail; etc.) এবং
(Deep Sea Port, Airport)

  • Adequate Power; Gas Supply
Entrepreneurship?!

Political Stability [

রাজনৈতিক স্থিতিশীলতা ধরে রাখা;

  • Engineering & Management Consultancy Firm

Notes On Jesus Christ

Points (Similarities):
  • Jesus emphasized on "inner life" - being "pure internally ". This is where he differs from other Jewish prophets. Whereas Moses taught us to follow ten commandments in our deeds, Jesus instructed us to follow them in our heart.
  • Challenged orthodox religious views of his time.
  • Jesus could perform miracles.
  • Faith. Confidence. Matthew 17:20 : He replied, “Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”
  • Jesus had to face the devil - after baptizing and - before he started his work.
  • Started ministerial work at age 30.
  • Jesus died on a Friday.
  • Huge number of followers (Divine "push").
  • Jesus said (after resurrection), "All power is given unto me in Heaven and Earth" (Matthew 28:18)

No one expected that Jesus, in His second coming, would be born as the "Greatest Genius of All Time".

But remember:
  • Knowledge is a virtue of God. To create a world or to rule over a world - knowledge is required.
  • What made Adam superior to Angels was His knowledge.
  • And read this:
A woman speaking from in-between-life state:
"Our task is to become God-like through knowledge. We know so little."
From: Many Lives, Many Masters: The True Story of a Prominent Psychiatrist, His Young Patient, and the Past-Life Therapy That Changed Both Their Lives by Brian L. Weiss, MD (Amazon) (p. 46)

Second Coming of Jesus

Mark 13: 8, 19, 26 -27:

8 Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be earthquakes in various places, and famines. These are the beginning of birth pains.19 because those will be days of distress unequaled from the beginning, when God created the world, until now—and never to be equaled again.26 “At that time people will see the Son of Man coming in clouds with great power and glory. 27 And he will send his angels and gather his elect from the four winds, from the ends of the earth to the ends of the heavens.

Matthew 25 : 31 - 43:

31 “When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on his glorious throne. 32 All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. 33 He will put the sheep on his right and the goats on his left.34 “Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. 35 For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, 36 I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’37 “Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? 38 When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? 39 When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’40 “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’41 “Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. 42 For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink, 43 I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe me, I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me.’

Resurrection of Jesus

Religions other than

Christianity do not believe / doubt resurrection of Jesus after death.

Jesus was supposed to fulfill a set of promises to be considered "the Messiah" (Jews) - which Jesus didn't fulfill in his (first) lifetime.

If the resurrection never happen, then even his Apostles (closest companions) would have doubted the claim that Jesus was the true Messiah. (The apostles were clearly doubtful after Jesus was crucified.)

And if the Apostles didn't believe Jesus to be the true Messiah, then Christianity as a religion would never have existed. It's the Apostles who preached Jesus's saying (Gospels of Bible) and established the Church (in spite of being persecuted). Without Apostles, you can't think of Christianity and without resurrection - you can't think of Apostle's belief in Jesus Christ.

It's only after his resurrection after death - that the Apostles truly believed that Jesus was the promised Messiah.

A Comparative Study Of Eschatology Of Major World Religions

Islam

  • Eschatology figures: Jesus, Imam Mahdi and Dajjal.

    • Allah's Apostle said, "The Hour will not be established until the son of Maryam (Jesus) descends amongst you as a just ruler. Wealth will be in abundance so that nobody will accept it." [1]
    • When the Mahdi appears, Allah will cause such power of vision and hearing to be manifested in believers that the Mahdi will call to the whole world from where he is, with no postman involved, and they will hear and even see him. [2]
      • [The interesting aspect is, this was said some 1400 years ago in a place where houses were surrounded by deserts all around. Compare the place and time with our modern day society full of Computers and Smartphones.]
    • The Messenger of Allah say: "The Mahdi is of my lineage and family". [2]

    Christianity

    Buddhism
    • Eschatology figure: Maitreya. A future Buddha of the world. World Teacher [4].
      • One mention of the prophecy of Maitreya is in the Sanskrit text, the Maitreyavyākaraṇa (The Prophecy of Maitreya). It implies that he is a teacher of meditative trance sadhana and states that gods, men and other beings:
        • "will lose their doubts, and the torrents of their cravings will be cut off: free from all misery they will manage to cross the ocean of becoming; and, as a result of Maitreya's teachings, they will lead a holy life. No longer will they regard anything as their own, they will have no possession, no gold or silver, no home, no relatives! But they will lead the holy life of oneness under Maitreya's guidance. They will have torn the net of the passions, they will manage to enter into trances, and theirs will be an abundance of joy and happiness, for they will lead a holy life under Maitreya's guidance." (Trans. in Conze 1959:241) [4]

    Hinduism
    • Eschatology figure: Kalki (meaning 'Eternity,' 'White Horse,' or 'Destroyer of Filth'). He will usher in Satya Yuga.
      • "At the end of Kali Yuga, when there exist no topics on the subject of God, even at the residences of so-called saints and respectable gentlemen, and when the power of government is transferred to the hands of ministers elected from the evil men, and when nothing is known of the techniques of sacrifice, even by word, at that time the Lord will appear as the supreme chastiser." - Bhagavata Purana, 2.7.38 [5]

    Parables of Jesus

Jesus explained his teachings using parables.

    Why?

If you say, "Do this. Don't do that." people won't listen to you.

A King can make sure people do what he wishes by force.

But Jesus always emphasized on inner purity - changing people's hearts. Whereas Moses taught us to to follow ten commandments in our deeds, Jesus taught us to follow them in our hearts - not even think of sins.

To make sure people listen to what you say and change their hearts you have to touch their emotions.

People listen to stories. And that's what Jesus did.

This is an old tradition. I am sure many of you have heard of Aesop's fables and the morals those stories contained.

Jesus wanted to touch people by heart.

"International gangs, from Mexico’s Sinaloa group to the Italian ’Ndrangheta, are becoming more entrenched. They work with local counterparts who may be paid in kind with a percentage of the shipment and perhaps a few guns. Local demand for cocaine is low; the main intra-island trade is in marijuana. The Caribbean already has some of the world’s highest murder rates."

Farc delegate Rodrigo Granda (left) shook hands with government envoy Jorge Enrique Mora at the announcement in Havana

"The Colombian government and FARC rebels have agreed to resume peace talks, which were suspended last month over the abduction of an army general, mediators say.
Officials from Cuba and Norway, the two countries brokering the peace process, said a week of discussions would begin in Havana on 10 December.
Colombia's president stopped the talks after the rebels seized Gen Ruben Dario Alzate and two others on 16 November.

"Dramatic advances in children’s health and in poverty-reduction are within the world’s grasp, argues Bill Gates, co-chair, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation

Successful movements share certain key features:

    the remarkable leadership of a few visionary individuals and organisations;

    a moment that jars the consciousness of the masses;

and political evolutions that create the environment where change seems possible.

        ]

But perhaps the most important prerequisite for a mass movement is a record of progress that convinces the majority that change can happen if they commit themselves to achieving it.

I believe 2015 can be the moment when the fight to save the lives of children around the world turns into a popular movement, because the world has built a record of progress that proves dramatic change is possible in our lifetimes.

When children have the basic health care needed to live past their fifth birthdays,

when they have access to food that keeps them well nourished and

when they can go to school,

      whole societies are empowered.

We know precisely why children are surviving:

More vaccines for more diseases are being delivered to more places.

Bed nets treated with insecticide have saved millions from malaria.

Simple oral rehydration salts keep children suffering from diarrhoea alive.

We also know why people are escaping poverty:

it is thanks to more productive agriculture,

      better access to financial services,

and the spread of functioning health systems that prevent expensive medical emergencies.

Another reason for all this progress is that we’ve become much better at understanding what works, how to measure it and how to know if we’re on track or not.

In September 2015 they will meet at the United Nations to agree to the next set of goals in key areas of development, like saving children’s lives, reducing extreme poverty and providing access to clean water.

In the year ahead we can broaden the conversation so that billions of people can take part in the discussion of what the world should look like and how to get there."

Meetings are said to have a corporate air, with Mr Modi as chief executive. Dates for specific targets—the “deliverables” of corporate jargon—are set.
Mr Modi presses his civil servants to think big. In August he called for 75m more Indian households to have bank accounts by February. The aim is to increase access to banking in a country where two-fifths of households lack it.

India’s most modernising effort by a mile: Aadhaar, the unique-identity scheme, in which biometric data are to be recorded to create a digital identity for every Indian. This can now be used, say, to open a bank account or get a passport. The prime minister’s chief civil servant for e-government, Ram Sewak Sharma, spells out what might follow once Indians have digital identities. Last year in Jharkhand state in eastern India Mr Sharma installed a system to track the daily attendance of nearly 14,000 officials. Each day at the office they log in and out by scanning a fingerprint or iris. The data is then published live, online. Taxpayers can even see which civil servants are at work or not. Both Mr Sharma and his boss think technology can do a lot to lessen rampant corruption. Measurably better performance is what excites Mr Modi. The prime minister wants India to be among the top 50 in the World Bank’s “ease of doing business” index. It is currently 134th. Next, a commission will report on restructuring the huge and lumbering Indian Railways. Another will look at how to modernise the Food Corporation, which sits on much of Indian agriculture. If the bureaucracy works better, implementing market reforms later may prove easier. "

In an effort to boost the economy, Putin said in his speech that he would freeze taxes on businesses for several years. He also promised to reduce government inspections of small and midsize enterprises that are found to be compliant with Russian regulations. And he vowed to cut down on corruption and offered a full, no-questions-asked amnesty for Russians bringing back money from abroad."

"In a pact that bolsters Iraq’s unity, the Iraqi government agreed on an oil deal Tuesday with the Kurdish region, ending years of political deadlock. The agreement, to be implemented Jan. 1, resolves a bitter dispute between Baghdad and Irbil, the Kurdish regional capital, over finances. The standoff has hampered cooperation.

The deal marks a significant breakthrough for Iraq’s new prime minister, Haider al-Abadi, who has pledged to repair relations between the Shiite-led government and the country’s Sunni and Kurdish minorities.

Crippling economics galvanized both sides to reach a deal, with the Kurds unable to pay salaries amid a freeze in budget payments from Baghdad and the central government desperate to plug the gap created by a dive in global oil prices.

“It’s a fair and just deal for both sides, which will really pave the way for improved relations between Baghdad and Irbil,” said Finance Minister Hoshyar Zebari.
Under the deal, the Kurds are to turn over 550,000 barrels of oil a day to central authorities — representing about a fifth of the country’s current exports. In exchange, Irbil will receive 17 percent of the national budget. An additional $1 billion will go to pay and equip Kurdistan’s security forces, known as the peshmerga."
