How to pioneer a New Mathematical Science
- Define/Invent new quantities in the discipline under study (Ex.: Force, mass, acceleration in Physics).
- Discover mathematical relationship among quantities. (See, for example, how Claude Shannon pioneered Information Theory.)
Sciences that are currently Quantitative / Statistical in nature (Example: Economics; Business problems currently tamed with Big Data; Atmospheric science) will be turned into Mathematical Sciences.
